Clouds, Sand and the Lighthouse

A recently discovered beach in Calatagan Batangas, Burot Beach is easily one of the very accessible beaches when coming from Manila. A sidetrip to Cape Santiago which houses a lighthouse, reminiscent of the past should be able to complete a fun coastal trip for the holy week!

Trip Notes

*Italicized notes indicate hike specific information

-Because it is Holy Week, we cannot predict the amount of people in the bus terminals therefore please try not to be late.

-We are also looking into securing cars instead of commuting to make travel easier.

-I still have to confirm the expenses because all blogs show different expenses

-Cape Santiago is a historical lighthouse, visiting it could mean an additional P100 as stated in the expenses which causes the budget to become P617. However this could be considered as an alternative sidetrip should the beach be too crowded.

-Weather conditions will affect how we go about our trip but as much as possible it will push through.

-Expect that it will be mainit so bring umbrella or sunscreen! -Do bring extra money for personal expenses such as food. -Inform us if you have a medical condition that requires attention in order for us to be prepared beforehand. -Shower rooms are available after the trip
