Mt. Maculot in Cuenca, Batangas is a great dayhike trip for both beginner and veteran hikers. Featuring a scenic view of Taal, Mt. Maculot is sure to give us a great daytrip!

Trip Schedule:

5:00 Call time Mcdonalds Taft

5:30 Depart to Buendia via jeep

6:00 Arrival at Buendia Depart to Cuenca via bus

8:30 Arrival at Cuenca Poblacion. Depart to jump off via tricycle

9:00 Arrival at jump off. Registration.

9:30 start trek

11:30 Arrival at Rockies

12:00 Return to campsite, lunch

1:00 Descend back to base

3:00 Back at base. clean up

4:00 Depart back to Manila via bus

7:00 Arrival at Manila

Individual Things to Bring:

>Toiletries, Sun Protection, Personal medications

>Waterproofing (Bag/Ziplock/Plastic layering)

>Trekking shoes, Slippers, Extra clothes, Towel

>Food (Lunch, trail food) and water

>Extra plastic for wet items

Notes

-Weather conditions will affect how we go about our trip but as much as possible it will push through. : )

-For the bus ride, request for student fare as it will lower the expenses

-Do bring extra money for personal expenses such as food.

-Inform us if you have a medical condition that requires attention in order for us to be prepared beforehand.

-Shower rooms are available after the hike.
