Clouds Above the Pig's Hill

Popular for its three peaks, nearby islands as side trips and the level of the hike, Mt. Gulugod Baboy is a place for adventure that rests in southern Batangas where the famous diving resorts of Anilao are also found.

Trip Schedule:

5:00: Call time at Mcdonalds Taft

5:30: Departure to Anilao, Mabini Batangas via Van

8:30: Arrival at Philpan Resort (Jump Off), Register

9:00: Start Climb

11:00: Arrival at Summit, Photoshoot, Lunch.

12:00: Start Descent

13:00: Back to Philpan Resort, Depart to Oscar Island, Tingloy Batangas via Boat

13:30: Arrival at Oscar Island, Free time

16:00: Return to Mabini Batangas via Boat

16:30: Back to Philpan Resort, Wash up

17:30: Depart to Manila via Van

20:30: Arrival at Taft, Manila

-The mountain is bare, so expect that it may be mainit or very maulan and there will no shade for either conditions so bring umbrella or sunscreen! -Expect that we may arrive back in Manila late in the evening given that we are in the southern end of Batangas, travel time takes 2 - 3 hours going and returning to Manila. : )

-Given the limitations of the boat ride, ONLY 15 people may join the trip, so do secure your slots quick.

-Weather conditions will affect how we go about our trip but as much as possible it will push through.

-Do bring extra money for personal expenses such as food. -Inform us if you have a medical condition that requires attention in order for us to be prepared beforehand. -Shower rooms are available after the trip

-Backing out at the last minute will result in payment of 80% of the trip budget.
