Clouds Above the Sapling
Mt. Manabu in Sto. Tomas, Batangas is a mountain designed for dayhikes as it is short and easy enough for beginners and veterans alike. A year ago, a sapling was planted near the summit. Time to check up on it!

Trip Schedule
5:00 Call time at Mcdonalds Taft 5:30 Depart to LRT-Buendia via jeep
6:00 Arrival at LRT-Buendia, Board bus to Lipa
7:30 Arrival at Fiesta Mall Junction. Depart to Brgy. Sta. Cruz via tricycle
8:30 Arrival at Brgy. Sta. Cruz. Registration. 9:00 Start climb.
11:00 Arrival at summit. Photoshoot. Lunch 12:00 Start Descent 13:30 Back at Brgy. Sta. Cruz. Freshen up 14:00 Depart to Sto. Tomas, Batangas via tricycle. 14:30 Arrival at Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Eat somewhere (Recommended, Rose and Grace restaurant)
15:30 Depart back to Manila via bus
17:30 Arrival at Manila
Things to Bring:
-> Toiletries, Sun Protection, Umbrella
-> Waterproofing (Bag/Ziplock/Plastic layering)
-> Trekking shoes, Slippers, Extra clothes, Cap, Towel
-> Packed lunch and water, trail food and snacks
-> Extra plastic for wet items / trash

-Weather conditions will affect how we go about our trip but as much as possible it will push through. -Protect yourself from the sun even if its not very visible! Use sunscreen or sunblock before heading up the mountain.
-Do bring extra money for personal expenses such as food. -Inform us if you have a medical condition that requires attention in order for us to be prepared beforehand.
